What should I wear?
We want all our guests to feel beautiful and their best, however, we ask that attendees refrain from wearing any loud or bright colors (or white), or excessively revealing party attire. Semi-formal wedding attire recommended.
Please feel free to dress according to the color palette of the wedding, though this is not a requirement.
What kind of venue is Saint Patrick Palace?
Saint Patrick Palace is a Private Estate venue that specializes in holding events just like ours. Housed on five acres in Davie, Saint Patrick Palace features a Main House, Guest House, private pond, a pool, and a paved patio where we will host all our wedding events throughout the weekend of May 8th through the 10th.
What is the parking like at Saint Patrick Palace?
Guests will be directed to parking on the property with plenty of space for all guests' vehicles, however, we strongly recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach this destination as we will be monitoring alcohol consumption before guests leave the property in a vehicle they are driving. We love all our friends and family, and want everyone to have a fun and safe experience during our celebration!
If the venue is a Private Estate, does that mean I can stay in the house after the wedding?
While we'd love for all of our guests to crash on a couch in the Main House after a great night of celebrating, we have limited space and ask that only guests with a specified invitation to stay behind be permitted to do so.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
All wedding events, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outdoors. Worry not! Large fans will be provided, and most of the events will be held after sundown.
Can I bring my children?
If your invitation specifies your entire family, your children are welcome to attend! We will be providing babysitters for the duration of the reception that will remain on-property in the Guest House directly next to the reception space. Please ensure that you bring any needs your children may require, including but not limited to changes of clothing, entertainment items, favorite snack foods, etc.
Can I bring a plus-1?
Although we'd love for everyone to celebrate with us, we ask that only guests specified on your invitation be permitted to attend the wedding events on May 9th.
Will there be a Welcome Reception?
We will be hosting a Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding party and immediate families only on Friday May 8th as we prepare for the next day of celebration.
Sunday May 10th is Mother's Day, what will you be doing?
We will be hosting an informal Mother's Day/Farewell Brunch and BBQ on Sunday May 10th that everyone is invited to attend should you not have plans of your own. This is a BYOB event and open to anyone who would like to hang out by the pool, play yard games, and enjoy the general company of friends in a relaxed environment.
Where can we direct any other questions we may have?
Please feel free to email us at our wedding email kbandmdwedding@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
